These days it seems that you can’t escape stories about the latest social networking phenomenon, Twitter. With all the hype and celebrity endorsements, lots of people are asking “how do I use Twitter?”.
There are plenty of sites out there that will tell you how to use Twitter, but not so many to warn you of the pitfalls. If you take a moment to learn from this list of DOs and DON’Ts then you’ll be Twittering away with the best of them.
DO hold your tongue. Unless your updates are protected, anyone can see what you are Tweeting.Bear in mind the story of the girl who managed to Tweet her way out of a job just because a hiring manager read her thoughts on the position she interviewed for.
DON’T use Twitter for a chat client.No one wants to their screen full of irrelevant Tweets from a conversation that they’re forced to eavesdrop on.
DO remember to retweet other people.This can be a good way to build up a following of like minded Twitterers.
DON’T endlessly self promote yourself. Okay, we get it – you have a blog.Twitter isn’t a one way street – interact!
DO follow back, but….
DON’T be offended if not everyone follows you back.Users with tens of thousands of followers are unlikely to see your Tweet through the noise anyway.
DO be funny, entertaining, informative and creative with your tweets.
DON’T automatically DM new followers. This is the Twitter equivalent of spam and a faceless “hi – thanks for the follow” is impersonal and off-putting.
DO use it to get help from others.Once you have built up a reasonable following you’ll find it easy to find answers to your questions in no time.
DON’T twit if your message is likely to exceed 140 characters.Spreading messages over multiple tweets is just going to confuse and annoy the people who are following you.
These handy hints should get you started. If you are likely to spend a significant proportion of your online time on Twitter then there are plenty of guides on the net telling you how to use Twitter effectively.

ClickBank was founded in 1998 as a network of affiliate Internet marketers and product/service advertisers that offers very comprehensive informative and practical content from e-books and software tools to membership packages and subscription offers. Market studies indicate that there are more than 12,000 publishers promoting digital products and over 100,000 affiliates that work on ClickBank. So far, on the entire electronic market, ClickBank has so far been the most visited business in the world. There are around 20,000 orders processed daily with a profit of $1 million.
The success formula at the basis of this business model is the link-relationship between consumers, Internet affiliates and publishers in the system. Who benefits from the network? Well, publishers get the chance to sell intellectual property, consumers shop for products that are not available in regular retail stores and affiliates pay incredibly advantageous commissions for their advertising. ClickBank acts as the intermediary or the link between these three groups ensuring transparency of transactions, high quality anti-fraud protection and a secure operation platform.
The ClickBank clients included in the above mentioned groups can receive professional assistance for the optimization of their activity online. ClickBank follows a closed-system pattern, meaning that permanent development is not carried out at the expense of the customer, and most of all, it does not become the responsibility of the client. While with other programs, an affiliate would have to bring other vendors in order to augment the system, ClickBank does not impose any such obligations. The network makes profit only from the commissions resulting from sales, which once again indicates the extent of the transactions conducted in this model.
What do consumers have to gain from ClickBank? The benefits for the individual clients comes in the form of specialized products that retail stores cannot include in their offer. The number of products available is huge, the transactions are very safe and the entire system incorporates only user and consumer-friendly features in all respects. Last but not least, extra money making opportunities are provided by ClickBank to affiliates that add products and services from the network on their home page. The most advantageous of commissions here are up to 75% of the sales but more money can come out of referring publishers and affiliates to ClickBank.

Some may say the largest stumbling blocks for new affiliate marketers is choosing what to sell online. Most will try product after product in an attempt to find ways to make money fast. Finding a hot selling product or service to sell online isn’t hard. With the simple tips below, anyone can find a hot selling product of their own to sell online.
To become successful with affiliate marketing, you have to find a product that many people want to buy. Not only that, you have to find product or services that they are likely to purchase over the Internet. I’ve heard that there are some people who will buy a automobile or boat online, but not many. There are some products and services that people want to see, touch and evaluate in person before buying. That’s hard to do through a computer screen! Locating red hot niches that will produce targeted traffic to your website is the secret to making money online.
For starters, make a list of the things you like and are passionate about. It has always been said that you can sell products and services you believe in. That’s true. The opposite is true for products or services you know nothing about or have no experience in. That’s why it is important in finding something that you are happy with or are obsessed with.
Both Yahoo and Google have sections where you can go and look to see what the most searched terms are for the past week or month. This will tell you what people are searching for online. Google also has a section called “Hot Trends” that is updated throughout the day to show you the most searched for terms. This can be a huge benefit if you follow it over time.
Another section in Google you want to do research in is Google Trends. This tool will tell you how well the product you’re interested in has been searched for in the past. Google trends is a free tool and one you should not overlook. You want to see the line on the graph either fairly steady across the graph or rising. If the lines are pointing down, this means the search volume is slowing down.
In Yahoo, find the section called Yahoo Buzz. You can find this at buzz.yahoo.com. Buzz.Yahoo.com tracks the most searched for terms of the previous week or month. It will also tell you whether or not your term is on the rise or tapering off. Personally, I prefer Google Trends for seeing if the product is on fire or cooling off. Work with it a while to really find the best niche products that are hot.
One often overlooked place to find ideas is ebay. There is a section inside ebay where you can see the most searched for products. This can also give you ideas on what to sell on ebay and on the Internet as well. The section you want to look for is called Ebay Pulse. You can also drill down to find which specific products are hot. For example, iPods are always hot on Ebay. But which color? Use Ebay Pulse to find which color or which model is hot.
Follow these simple steps and get comfortable with using them to locate hot niches. You just have to know where to look in order to find them. Picking an affiliate product just because it has a high payout is a sure fire way to fail. Pick something you know about and then research it to see if there is a demand for it. This way you’ll have the confidence to stay the course until you see the fruits of your labor pay off.

Years ago, when I was a teenager feeling at the effect of my parent’s divorce I was severely challenged to be the cause of my own experience. At a time when life was asking me, “Who do you want to be when you grow up?” I couldn’t decide if life was even worth getting out of bed for.
You may have heard that there is a series of questions that a good news reporter will ask to get to the bottom of a story: Who, What, When, Where, Why and How? Well the story of my life back then, forced me to dig deep and answer the nagging question that became my reason for getting out of bed and facing another day of chaos,
“Who am I?”
Parents, friends, school nor religion came to my aid, I was pretty much alone in seeking the information I most needed. It took many years to understand that there really are two basic kinds of knowledge: one is general and the other specialized. Today I see these two as woven together in the process of Masterminding and Implementing, where Masterminding is a way of accessing the vast quantity and quality of knowledge and Implementing becomes the specialization of organizing and intelligently directing vast knowledge toward a specific chosen outcome. Yet again PURPOSE is everything, because without Purpose all the knowledge in the world is overwhelmingly useless, especially to a teenager questioning if life is even worth living.

For many that I have met religion came to the rescue, helping to answer the deepest of life’s questions. For me it simply didn’t happen that way. Sure, I prayed to Jesus for help and did find some sense of relief but the knowledge I found most useful came in the form of books like Jonathan Livingston Seagull, by Richard Bach. Also, A Course in Miracles became a way of looking at the world and my place in it that made the most sense to me. When religion became more central in my life years later establishing my own definition of sin has blessed me with the greatest peace of all. For me I SIN if I allow myself to become who I am…because of the experience of others.
But I digress, I share all this only to highlight how powerful the questions that we ask ourselves become in being both the cause and the effect of what we experience. Furthermore how critical it is that especially when we think we know the answer already that we continue to ask good questions, because not all knowledge accumulated through experience is accurate.
What do I mean?
Success and Failure are largely the result of HABIT, and the way of Success is the way of CONTINUOUS PURSUIT OF KNOWLEDGE. Ultimately we get the answers to the questions we are asking. If we don’t like the answers our life is giving us, then it may be time to become more conscious of the quality of our questions. Remember, you have ABSOLUTE CONTROL over but one thing, that being your thoughts. Putting it all together, the answers we are getting are a result of the questions we are asking. What we are asking is a direct expression of our thoughts.
Napoleon Hill in Think and Grow Rich offers how to organize and use knowledge after it is acquired into definite plans of action (Implementation). He suggests that to be truly educated is to have so developed the faculties of the mind that one may acquire anything one wishes, or its equivalent, without violating the rights of others (in my words I would say by being a power-to-others rather than a power-over-them).
Accumulation of great fortune calls for POWER. Which can be acquired through highly organized and intelligently directed specialized knowledge. This is where a Mastermind group can help to bridge any weaknesses.

The “missing link” in all systems of education known to civilization today may be found in the failure of educational institutions to teach their students HOW TO ORGANIZE AND USE KNOWLEDGE AFTER THEY ACQUIRE IT. It could be said that IMPLEMENTATION OF KNOWLEDGE is the biggest problem in the world today. Keep in mind as well that anything acquired without effort and without cost is generally unappreciated, and often discredited.
