How Can You Harness and Use the Power of DESIRE?

…there was a man who celebrated his 40th birthday, alone. Still single, never married and not yet with any children, he wished most of all to be united with his “Beloved.” Having followed many spiritual paths he knew he wasn’t alone, but he was lonely and had a Burning Desire to be with the woman of his dreams. At that time a Birth-Day PURPOSE and Dream for him “Takes off!”
Today, 3 years later, sharing my personal story has its own Purpose:
To Build a Relationship with You that Expands Our Horizons.
Hereby my INTENTION becomes the Power to manifest a Chosen DESIRE. This “Power” connects each of us with our Chosen Purpose, and I say, Purpose is Everything.
What is Your Purpose in Reading This?
Ever notice how we each find what we are looking for?
I know of no better “laboratory” to experience DESIRE than when we are in Love, and even more so when such a love chooses to expand horizons in marriage. Partners are constantly filling each other with a stream of DESIRES, needs and opinions. I believe we connect to our Soul through such deeply felt DESIRES as that found in a love relationship.

You see for much of my life I felt like a Failure, in Love and Business. Now that’s not to say I never experienced success, I did but I experienced success as something done “to me” rather than “by me” like I was “just lucky” every once and a while. My whole life I have longed to be “Master of my Fate and Captain of my Soul,” not at the effect of Fate but the author of it! Now, after 43 years of “feeling at the effect,” I am the “cause” of all that I experience. We each have absolute control over but one thing, that being our Thoughts.
As Napoleon Hill details in ‘Think and Grow Rich,’ “Success comes to those who become SUCCESS-CONSCIOUS. Failure comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to become FAILURE-CONSCIOUS. If you are seeking to remember the art of changing your mind from FAILURE-CONSCIOUSNESS to SUCCESS-CONSCIOUSNESS you are in the right place at the right time.
I Believe it is My Responsibility to Make Sure that Positive Emotions Constitute the Dominating Influence of My MIND. Learned from the “school of hard knocks” I know how just one single powerful negative thought, feeling, or emotion in the conscious mind destroys all chance of constructive aid from my subconscious mind (Step 3 Autosuggestion details the medium for influencing the Subconscious Mind, find it HERE).
DESIRE is the starting point of All Achievement. Want something quicker try kindling a “Burning Desire!”

Marrying my “Viking Wife” and relocating to Norway continues to teach me a lot ! (I’ll share some of the details as this story continues over the next few weeks and we take all 13 steps together) LOL! At the time of this writing I have Survived Two Dark Norway Winters. The 2nd winter deeply tested our Burning Desire to Succeed in Our Marriage! Napoleon Hill describes it well when he say’s “cutting all sources of retreat maintains a State of Mind essential to success.” One year into our marriage the honeymoon was long over, if I would have found a way out…well, let’s just say I wouldn’t be writing this now as a happily married man!
The object of this IMezine is to help all who seek it to learn the art of changing their minds from FAILURE CONSCIOUSNESS TO SUCCESS CONSCIOUSNESS, to Remember and Experience how You Are the “Master of Your Fate and the Captain of Your Soul.”
When poet William Ernest Henley wrote those prophetic lines he didn’t detail “Why this is so.” It took Napoleon Hill to help me remember I am the Master of my Fate, I am the Captain of my Soul…because I have The Power to Control my Thoughts. We all do. Yet it calls for more willpower than the average person cares to use for this purpose.
The same applies to Riches, before we can accumulate riches in great abundance, we must magnetize our minds with intense DESIRE for riches, we must become money conscious until the DESIRE for money drives us to create DEFINITE PLANS for acquiring it (Step 6 “Organized Planning,” will detail the Crystallization of Desire into Action. All achievement, no matter what may be its nature or its purpose, must begin with an intense, BURNING DESIRE for something definite.
Nothing is impossible to the person who backs DESIRE with enduring FAITH (Step 2 is “FAITH” can be found HERE).
I believe in the application of DESIRE backed by FAITH because I have seen it lift people from lowly beginnings to places of power and wealth (see interviews I have conducted at: http://TimothyBertOwen.com/interviews ). My own firsthand experience has also proven to me how individuals staged a comeback after having been defeated in countless ways. Surely you have experienced in yourself and/or in another the Power of DESIRE when it assumes the proportion of an Obsession!

Compare these results to how you rated yourself initially and take note of any differences. It may reveal more of “your own chosen purpose” in reading this, remember Purpose is Everything for it causes us to find what we seek.
If while reading this first of 13 steps you were lifted to a higher level of mental stimulation, splendid! Read it once more, and observe that your mind will soar to ever higher levels of stimulation. Repeat this from time to time and eventually…

How Tim got started…
I’m successful, working a job 16+ hours a day and getting home about once a month.I’m learning that what I do is not just a job it’s more accurately called “a lifestyle”. And having no real-life of my own other than work is wearing me thin.
18 months later 9/11 happens – I was away from home, too far away from home...

Thank you for this email.
Life never ceases to amaze me! I met the lady of my dreams when I was 33 years old.(22 years ago). We had a daughter two years later and married on her second birthday in Mauritius – paradise! Two more children followed over the next five years.
Life was great, absolutely great despite it’s challenges!
To cut a long story short, my business closed in 2001 causing severe financial problems. Despite this, I employed all of my determination and focus on straightening things out and getting back on track.
This was not easy and put a strain on our relationship, mainly caused by financial instability.
In 2003 (January 3rd), my wife could take no more – she walked away from me and our three children.
We were all totally devastated. The next five years were interesting! I focussed totally on stabilising my children emotionally and managed to keep us all afloat financially as well. My wife divorced me two years after she left and had some contact with her children, but none with me. She had met somebody else and was now working herself and I have to say – rather single – mindedly.
My pain was awful, I loved and cared for this lady so much to the exclusion of every other advance that was made to me over these five years – I simply was not interested in forming a relationship with anyone.
Now to the point of my reply to you: In 2005 I started looking at life-coaching as a way to help me through my constant emotional pain. I eventually came across somebody who I was happy to open up to. After an intensive start I cut my sessions back to once per month. The reults were truly empowering and opened up a whole new world for me (and my children) because I now understood a lot more about me!
Last November 2008, I received an email – out of the blue – from my ex-wife, telling me that she was coming to the UK on business (she had moved to Spain) and she would like to meet up, going on to say, she completely understood if I didn’t want to.
My “wheel of life” took on a completely different shape at this point!
We met in December last year and it was as if we had never parted. She was still with her partner but explained to me that she was not and never had been happy, since she had walked away. In her way she “apologised” for panicking and walking away when she did.
We met one more time when she was over, for dinner, we decided to stay in touch of course. Over dinner she said to me “Ronnie, you have changed, don’t get me wrong, you are still the man I met and fell in love with – and always have been, but you are calmer and more reflective. In fact your positivity is infectious!”
I didn’t mention at this point that I was being coached, but simply said ” Thank’s, let’s see how we go, let’s pretend that this is in fact the 1st June 1986 (the day we met), we do not have any history, let’s just enjoy this new relationship”
Fast-forward, she has terminated her relationship with her partner (December 2008). I have been to Spain twice for long week-ends and she has been over to the UK again.
I have spoken to my children about the situation of course (they are now 20, 17 and 13 years old). They want nothing more than for their Mum and Dad to be great friends, but Dad – “Please be careful!”).
In January I started to write about my experience over the previous 5+ years, my journey. It was whilst writing that I began to realise just how much my life-coaching had changed my outlook. Again, life never ceases to amaze me! I started to look for other ways of generating an income, ideally on-line so as I could work in the UK or Spain. Lo and behold, I started to realise just how much “information” sells for!
Fast -forward again! Between January and now, I have written an 81 page ebook after enrolling into a 16 week video course on-line by a guy called John Thornhill. I have called it “Take Control Of Your Life – Forever, In 7 Days” (I felt truly uplifted after 7 days of coaching and had a definite way forward as well!)
The book is a step by step program which is based exactly on my learnings. I am biased of course – however, if followed it will change your life for the better – I am living proof!
Summary: When I was least expecting it a curved ball rocked mine and my family’s life.
Came across life-coaching, enrolled and have not looked back (still have monthly sessions to keep me on track).
The absolute love of my life approached me – after 5+ years!
Discovered the power of information on the web.
Wrote a program based on my learnings.
Following a video series on how to launch it.
GOT THIS EMAIL FROM YOU THIS MORNING!
Maybe you could look at it and give me an appraisal? I do intend to become a full-time IM with this subject as my main niche. I want to build a huge list! ( I have made it a goal and am “walking my talk” on a daily basis towards achieving this goal).
I embrace everything in your email as a result of life-coaching and my dream is to get my ebook out to as many people as I can in the hope that they too, can have all that they desire and feel great about it!
I have not been so forward as to attach my “program” to this email, I would’t do that.

Loved your “Be All You Can Be” Step 1 DESIRE”
Although I need to read it a couple of times to fully understand and made it apply to my life. My life is not full of ups and downs but at the moment I am at a fork in the path of desire. Fully supporting my lovely husbands desire but not happy I can’t seem to follow my wishes.

There is just so many good things said here. If I had to sum it up in a few words it would be “Having a new Mindset”!
Getting all that you want out of life, be it personal or business is nothing more then how you see and think about things. Just by changing the way you think. This can only lead to opening up new doors to better places.
If you put on a new pair of Glasses you will begin to see things differently.

Take a look inside and see…Success comes to those who become Success Conscious “failure” (if there were such a thing) comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to become failure conscious.
We each have to answer the question for ourselves:

It’s funny because while it is still summer with long days of sunlight still, there is no doubt that winter darkness is swinging us toward the winter season again.
The past couple of winters this has been a challenging time for me. But with a new baby expected to arrive this December and the accountability work we are doing together…I predict a whole new kind of light will be shining here this winter.
