Dear Friend,
I thought I’d be dead by now. Or still flying fighter jets. But you and I both know life can throw you a few surprises now and then… and that’s what this letter is all about.

The weird but true story of how a 30 year old fighter pilot accidentally found a foolproof system for making money on the Internet using a cheap camera and a crappy laptop.

I’ll be honest with you,
Even I was Completely Scared and Knew Very
Little about Video when I Started!

And I’m still not a Nightly News Anchor on camera, but that doesn’t matter one bit.

Why?

Because I found the Holy Grail of Online Marketing, and it runs like Clockwork.

See, I’d never even heard of “Internet Marketing” and I wouldn’t have known a “marketing guru” if he walked up and handed me a $100 bill. After all, I’d been in the cockpit of my jet for the past 8 years and my main focus was on staying alive during my combat missions – not messing around on the computer!

But One Day It All Went Down The Tubes…

Just a few short minutes after touching town on the runway, I felt a searing pain shoot down my left leg. I could hardly move.
All that supersonic maneuvering caused unbearable back pain that took me out of the game.

After 987 hours of flight time, (near the 1000 hour milestone every pilot guns for), I could barely get out of my cockpit. If the plane ever caught on fire with me in this condition, I would burn alive…
So I had to fess up with the doctors…

Four Inch Needles Plunged Into Spine…

August 2007. After checking me out with an MRI, the first thing the docs decided to do was inject my herniated disc with goo.
Let me tell you, not a pleasant experience. (You ladies who have had an epidural can relate…)

Three times I was stabbed by a 4 inch needle and slowly injected with “medicine”.

It didn’t work…

Next, it was off to surgery. The docs put me under the knife to relieve the pressure. At the end, they told me I had an 85% chance of flying again.

During the recovery, I was soon bored stiff.

After working 12 hours a day, sometimes 6 days a week doing something I loved, there was only so much ESPN I could watch.
Not being able to sit, I could only stand, or lie in bed… and it was torture. After developing an interest in Internet Marketing a few weeks before surgery, I decided to give it a shot. Seemed harmless enough.

Zero Investment… Massive Results… FAST!

I learned the fastest way to bring in cash if you were a beginner was to sell other people’s products. (Affiliate Marketing.) And after flying one of the fastest jets in the world, slow was not appealing…

I wasn’t exactly armed to the teeth with the latest in technology. All I had was an old laptop, and a Casio Exilim camera. So I needed to figure out how to work with what I had.

Quickly, I developed a strategy…

Make quick videos telling the story of my recovery… and what I was doing to take my mind off the pain.

The Results Were Astounding

Within 3 weeks, I was making money. Not getting rich, (almost a grand), but making real cash. And all I did was point the camera at myself, and tell people about products, and send them to a link to find out more.

Pretty simple, huh?

But the initial success with Quick Video Marketing made me thirst for more.

So I invested a few hundred dollars into some software in December so I could do screen capture videos.

To make a long story short, I more than doubled my results. Here’s my December earnings:

3 Week Total: $13,532.10

I never thought this would be my full-time gig, I was supposed be cleared to fly soon. But no, the docs wouldn’t have it.

I tried every kind of alternative therapy I could to get better. Electric acupuncture, knesiotherapy, physical therapy… nothing worked.
I went back to the doctors, asked for a second opinion. Heck, even my original surgeon would not operate again.

Scratching and clawing to do anything to get back in the cockpit was to no avail. The doctors said that I could do more damage to my spine, even end up in a wheelchair. As much as I loved flying and teaching… it was time to hang up my wings.

One Dream Ends… A New One Begins

Even though the news was devastating, I knew what was next. Now this may sound corny, but when life gives you lemons… it’s time to make lemonade.

That was exactly what I did. I put all my focus into video marketing starting in January. I decided to learn a new trick each month, and the results snowballed from there…

My friends started asking me “How are you doing that?” So I started showing them.

In no time flat… I got so many requests for help it was sucking away all my time. So I started making videos to show them.

Next thing you know, I had enough videos for a full blown course. I started marketing it in the spring (with video of course) and Quick Video Marketing was born.

It wasn’t a huge launch… hey we were still figuring that part out. But between the course, a little consulting and some intro packages, the money really started adding up!
