How BIG is it?
Ever wonder how big or small something really is?
Like…
What does a million bucks look like?
How about a hundred-million, and a billion, and a trillion bucks?
Or…
How big is the earth in this solar system?
Pictures sure can put our perspective in new place!
100-100 Dollar Bills = $10,000
Believe it or not, this next little pile is $1 million dollars (100 packets of $10,000).
You could stuff that into a grocery bag and walk around with it!
While a measly $1 million looked a little unimpressive, $100 million is a little more respectable.
It fits neatly on a standard pallet…
And $1 BILLION dollars… now we’re really getting somewhere…
Next we’ll look at ONE TRILLION dollars.
This is that number we’ve been hearing about so much.
What is a trillion dollars anyway?
Well, it’s a million million. It’s a thousand billion. It’s a one followed by 12 zeros ($1,000,000,000,000)
Here is another way of looking at how BIG something is…
Earth, our Home Sweet Home…"feeling like the Big Kid on the Block!"
Can earth even be called "Mama Bear" in the photo below?
Here comes the Sun, "Papa Bear!"
Where did earth, "Mama Bear" go?
Seeing this sure put things in perspective for me!
"Perspective" sure is a relative thing isn’t it!?
